Department Of Zoology Has Established Rearing Culture Of Honey Bees At College Campus In 2019-20. It’s One Of The Commercial Programme Developments For Learning Knowledge Of Students Of Department.
Organic Waste Management-
To Prevent The Spreading Of Diseases By Such Insect Vectors, Our Students Clean The College Campus & Decided To Prepare The Gold (vermicomposting) From This Organic Waste. As Result Of Which We Constructed 10 Vermicomposting Units Under One Roof Or Shed. Our F.Y. /S.Y. /T.Y. /B. Sc. students Under The Guidance Of Mr. S.T.Pekhale, Ms. S.S.Bhamare & All Staff Of Zoology Maintain The Entire Project Of Organic Waste Management; They Collect Leaves Of Plants In College Campus & Put It Into The Vermicomposting Unit With Great Efforts. They Also Spray The Water To Maintain The Moister And To Collect Vermiwash From The Unit.
Virtual Classroom On Apiculture Entire Course
Virtual Classroom Is A Digital Learning System In Which Students Are More Interested Than Two Dimensional Blackboard System Of Learning. The Teacher And The Students Collectively Consider The Different Facts Related To Syllabus And Communicate To Understand Certain Topics. The bidirectional Learning System Is Conveyed Here Because Students Are Also Participates In Communication And Clear Their Doubts And Queries On The Topic Which They Assume As A Difficult Topic. Students Interact With Teachers Through This Learning Method And Clear Their Difficulties And Questions Regarding Syllabus.
The Apiculture Is The Subject In Which Some Aspects Are Not Completely Clear With The Help Of Books And Blackboard Teaching, For Example The Bee Communication Dances Are Difficult To Understand On Blackboard Teaching But In Video Lecture It Gets Very Simple To Understand And To Learn, The Phenomenon And Types Of Bee Communication And Dances Due To Virtual Classroom.
