               G.M.D. Arts, B.W. Commerce And Science College Sinnar, Department Of Geography Organized ‘Geography Day And Inauguration Of Geography Board’ On January 14, 2023. - Dr. Dnyaneshwar Pawar, Member Of Geography Study Board, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune As The Chief Guest Was Present. Respected Principal Of The College, Dr. PV Rasal, Chaired The Program.

               On This Occasion Head Of Geography Department Mr. Sandeep B. Bhise Welcomed The Chief Guests And Introduced The Program. The Chief Guest Of The Program Dr. Dnyaneshwar Pawar Delivered Lecture On ‘Climate Change And Human Role’ Speaking On The Occasion He Said That, Due To Many Human Interventions In The Environment, Various Harmful Gases Are Produce In The Atmosphere, The Temperature Of The Atmosphere Increases And The Biodiversity Is Adversely Affected. The Amount Of Melting Of Snow-covered Regions Has Also Increased And Due To This Natural Imbalance Has Been Created And From That, Point Of View Humans Need To Plan Some Solutions In Depth. 

               The Presidential Speech Hon'ble Principal Dr. P. V. Rasal Guided The Students, He Said That Human Beings Are The Center Of Geography And It Is Possible To Study Geography Only By Going To Nature And It Is Equally Necessary For Not Only Geography Students But Also Students Of Other Disciplines To Study Geography, Only Then Sustainable Development Of Geography And Sustainable Development Of Alternative Environment Will Take Place. 

               On The Occasion Of This Program, Ms. Ughade Eknath Subhash And Miss. Kharje Madhuri Vishnu Was Passed NET & SET Exams, An Ex-student Of The Geography Department, Was Felicitated By The Chief Guest And Hon. 

               Vice-Principal Prof.R.V.Pawar Present In This Program And Prof.S.R.Nikam Head Of Dept. Geography CIDCO College Nashik Present In This Programme. In Addition, 60 Students Of The Department Were Present In This Program.

               The Chief Guest Was Introduced By  Dr. B.R.Tambe, Prof. L. A. Kalaskar Announced The Name Of Former Students To Felicitate Them. Smt. K.K.Nawale Madam Anchoring The Program And  vote Of Thanks Was Done By Mr. R.D. Khurche. Teachers And Professors From Other Departments Also Attended The Program.

शैक्षणिक अभ्यास सहल अहवाल दिनांक २५ व २६ एप्रिल २०२२.

ठिकाण- सिन्नर महड – उन्हेरे कान्हेरे – पाली – मुरुड-जंजिरा किल्ला – फणसाड अभयारण्य – काशीद  – श्रीवर्धन (मुक्कामाचे ठिकाण) – हरिहरेश्वर – सिन्नर

गुरुवर्य मामासाहेब दांडेकर कला, भगवंतराव वाजे वाणिज्य आणि विज्ञान महाविद्यालय सिन्नर, भूगोल विभाग आयोजित दोन दिवसीय शैक्षणिक अभ्यास सहल दिनांक २५ रोजी रात्री ००.१०  ते  २६ एप्रिल २०२२ रोजी आयोजित केली त्यासाठी पुढील ठिकाण निवडले होते त्यात –महड-उन्हेरे कान्हेरे – पाली – मुरुड-जंजिरा किल्ला – फणसाड अभयारण्य – काशीद  – श्रीवर्धन(मुक्कामाचे ठिकाण) – हरिहरेश्वर. यामध्ये भूगोल विभागातील एस वाय आणि टी.वाय बी ए तसेच पदव्युत्तर प्रथम आणि द्वितीय वर्गातील एकूण ४१ विद्यार्थ्यांचा समावेश होता. त्यात २० मुली आणि २१ मुले सहभागी होते. या दोन दिवसीय शैक्षणिक अभ्यास सहलीसाठी महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ पी.व्ही.रसाळ आणि उपप्राचार्य प्रा आर.व्ही. पवार सरांचे सहकार्य आणि मार्गदर्शन मिळाले.तसेच भूगोल विभाग प्रमुख प्रा. एस.बी.भिसे, डॉ बी.आर.तांबे, डॉ एस. टी.जाधव, प्रा.आर डी. खुर्चे आणि प्रा श्रीमती एस बी शिंदे या सर्वाचे सहकार्य व मार्गदर्शन मिळाले.या दोन दिवसीय शैक्षणिक अभ्यास सहलीसाठी, डॉ. बी. आर.तांबे, प्रा. एस.बी.भिसे.प्रा. बी के बैरागी, प्रा. श्रीमती एस. बी. शिंदे विद्यार्थ्यांच्या सोबत होते. सिन्नर येथील एस.टी बस च्या माध्यामातून शैक्षणिक सहलीसाठी प्रवास सुखकर झाला.
