About Library

Our College has a separate, specious and well equipped building for library, having around 73,042 books with latest 74 Periodicals, 156 CDs/DVDs and 18 Newspapers. Reading room facility is available with individual study zones for students separate for boys and girls and faculties as well. The library is well equipped with audio-visual aids and it is computerized. The college library has the interlibrary borrowing facility with Jaykar Knowledge Resource Centre (Savitribai Phule Pune University), Y.C.M.O.U., Nashik, Kusumagraj Foundation, Nashik and K.T.H.M. College, Nashik. Our college library has subscribed two databases like N-LIST and DELNET. Under N-LIST Programme about 6000+E-Journals and 31, 35,000+E-Books are made available to readers. This facility is being provided to research scholars, students and academicians. The Library timings are from 8 A.M. to 5.00 P.M.

  • The Library has subsribed 4 Braille Magazines by NAB India, Mumbai (Namely: Blind Welfare, Vigyan Bharati, Deepshiksha and Braille Saptahik) 

General Rules

Identity Card

  • Identity card is necessary for all students in college campus
  • Without I-card library reading material are not provided
  • Students should show their I-card where demanded by library staff
  • I-card is valid for one academic year only
  • In the case of loss of I-card, the member/student should immediately inform the Principal/Librarian.

Book Circulation

  • A book will be issued to a members/student only in their member account
  • Books should be return to the Library on or before due date. If not return before due date, students should pay due charges
  • Dictionaries, encyclopaedias, journals publication, bound volumes and such other documents cannot be take on library account or I-card except with the permission of the library authority
  • For reading room purpose book will be issued on I-card and this book will be return same day.

Ques 1 : Who can be the member of library?

Ans:

  • All students admitted in the college
  • All faculty members of the college.
  • College Authorities.
  • Research Associates and Temporary faculty of the college.
  • Educational Institutes i.e. school / colleges in the Campus by ILL

Ques 2 : What can be photo copied?

Ans: Whole book not photo copied but some important part of the book which is very long to write down can be photocopied without disturbing the binding of the book.
 

Ques 3 : What is OPAC?

Ans: OPAC is an online public access catalogue of the library collection to search relevant book or reference.
 

Ques 4 : How do I borrow reference book?

Ans: It can be issued by special permission by the Principal and Librarian for a suitable & honest purpose only.
 

Ques 5 : How to used reference books?

Ans: The reference books have different types. As per requirement of user references are given to them by staff. Staff provide ideas or strategy when, which and how the reference book used.
 

Ques 6 : How to use e-resources?

Ans: Logins are provided to each department. Students can take from them or it is available in internet rooms. Using various logins e-resources are used. On first week orientation programme is conducted for introduction of library and its collection. Internet room observer have guide on any problem.

Ans: E-Resource center is available on 1st floor of library building for internet access to students and faculty mebers.
